The best thing about Finance Minister Bill English\'s latest Budget is that it does finally signal a much greater role for the private sector in the New Zealand economy. And another step along the way to extract this country from the political cul-de-sac in which Helen Clark\'s Labour Government parked us.

I have come to the conclusion from many hours of studying (porn) that the Lyttleton Volcano is waking back up, and on August the 32nd, it will blow its load and throw a chunk of rock the size of Ashvegas so far that it will land on the Sky Tower in Auckland. Banks Peninsula will become an island again and the Moas will roam free and become the next Double Down hit in NZ. Christchurch will be sweet as, Auckland not so sweet as.

Please spread this important information to everyone!

Here's another guy. Few more planet alignments still to come this year.

Planetary Alignment / Earthquake Watch Update June 13th 2011

Uploaded by thebarcaroller on Jun 7, 2011
This is a Planetary Alignment Earthquake watch video, program used in this Heliocentric visual representation is Simsolarv2.0 and solar system scope

Two significant alignments play a major role on this day with Earth-Sun-Mercury and Jupiter-Venus-Mercury. It is possible that we may have a volcanic eruption on this day or a significant or a 6.5 to 7.5 magnitude earthquake.

Possible locations that could be at risk for this event are 23 Degrees or 44 Degrees South Latitude based on solar analysis. best fit locations are Loyalty Islands or Christchurch New Zealand

Yeh, in that same article (in which I loved the irony of him contacting the media to tell the world he'd gone into hiding...) he also made the statement that there would be no more earthquakes after april, and that the scientists are "Just making it up" (sic).

One thing I fucking love about the last couple of big quakes is how moon loon just dominated himself, hahaha.

Any GetSome Chch members in the process of moving or buying/selling house?
Rumour is that the insurance companies are baulking again at granting insurance policies to people moving into a new(by new I mean its new for the owners, rather than just built) house in chch.

The 3rd hand account I heard is family A have insurance with tower for house X, are moving into house Y shortly. After the earthquakes on Mon, tower have declined to insure family A in house Y. Obviously there are legal remedies available depending on the facts of the case. But its still disgusting to hear imo. No doubt it has a lot to do with re-insurance stuff. Under its present owners house Y is insured by AMI. AMI may accept a policy for the same house but different owners.

I know there was a lot of trouble with insurance companies with the earlier quakes, mostly resolved now except for those arsehole clauses making the news currently, but anyone heard, seen, read  something similar to the above?

Banks won't lend without insurance, so it really becomes a double ended sword.

I'm still waiting for the land reports, with the rumored 150m green zone from the river, makes my house the 1st house on the strip, 150m finishes about 2m away from my driveway.... lovely outlooks I would have, and if it goes to 300m, well i'm fucked!

Yes about tranfering though, some people if the damage is minimal have been able to transfer their policy to the new owners to fill the void.
