What is it that in your mind would make a great admin and why: I can be hard but fair, i'm online alot, I'd like to see these NZ based servers getting used more.
If you can really do this then it's a +100 from me I would be keen on hearing some of your ideas for achieving this? Reality is we have many admins for BF3 already, not all active on the servers, but are mostly around if needed. BF3 seems to have run it's course though with even the latest expansions not really bringing the player numbers up. With BF4 on the horizon I would be keen for the admin team to regroup, reorganize and get in fresh blood if needed. I don't know you personally but if others can vouch for you then it's a yes to your admin app from me (plus we can always strike you off if you suck :p)

I will be back from holiday tomorrow and will have a look into it. Need to get the new config's made permanent to stop the servers returning to the wrong settings every time they are restarted, that I will also try to do tomorrow

^ LOL! They need to hurry up with the stand alone tbh. Enthusiasm is fading and with other games on the horizon they could miss out on lots of potential release sales

The original BFV is the 2nd in the BF series and was released in March 2004. This version was stand alone, not an add-on. I loved this original and hoped that the later add-ons to BF2 and BF:BC2 would relight the flame from 2004...... Sadly they didn't. All maps included in Battlefield 3, Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill, Battlefield 3: Aftermath and Battlefield 3: End Game are available to play on the game modes Conquest, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch and Squad Rush. Maps included in the Battlefield 3: Close Quarters expansion pack are not playable in Rush or Squad Rush game modes. Would seem not

I personally stay off servers or sit out rounds where there is a good jet pilot dominating as there are no real countermeasures, other than another good jet pilot, for removing the domination. Usually if there are two good pilots they will be on the same team! Murphy's law I guess. There are already two AS servers so if people want to fly jets they can head there and leave some server configs for the grunts amongst us What is Surrender mode Dr Bacon?

I intend on removing the CTF from this server and making it a End Game CQ only server still with map voting options. There is already a CTF server for those who prefer this mode and if required we can add another server or two if the numbers are there. Any opposition to the said change, speak now or forever hold your bacon

That is because you were in the s8 TS3 BFIII channel last night :p More than happy for the guys that were in channel with us last night to join us regularly as you fitted in well with our banter and are like minded. Just hit me up and I will sort it out. Wont be on myself tonight as I have footy prize giving but I intend to give it a good bash on Friday

I think CTF needs to be 12 Vs 12 (3 squads per side) as the maps are quite small and can get spammy with too many players.
Some great tactics were used last night and unlike Rush or CQ, two players working together, utilizing tactics can change the course of a game. Lone rangers will not like this mode imo.
I can see a few tweaks may be needed in configuration of the perfect server and EA are also going to need to tweak a little bit with the damage given out by and taken from the new IFV.
All in all very enjoyable.

It is the plan to have the servers configured and ready for the new modes when available for the Premium players on the 12th, apparently non premium players will have to wait until the 26th for their official release before being able to join the servers.
