I'm going to play devil's advocate on this little discussion element... Why should I be to blame for the inability of someone else to not be in control of their urges or otherwise. If I'm forcing myself upon someone, then sure, there might be a discussion, but I definitely think that if the two want to tango, then why am I to blame for the situation I am in?
I'm just saying that if a chick wants to bang, then I'll bang. If I find out she has a bf or whatever prior to the banging, then I'll make an enquiry, but that is the only obligation I have - the rest is her decision.
That said, there are other variables that come in to play - do I know the dude who would be getting the dirty done on him? Is he larger than me? Will this banging bring further banging, or is it a one off for me? etc.
This thread almost makes me want to do a GetSome Part 4: The Revival. In the meantime I'll see if I can find the Epic Meal Time piss take video we did.
So I have a question about the Starcraft 2 division in particular:
Is there any required league to enter? Age restriction?
Will it require a league on X server, for example, will I have to be ranked on SEA rather than NA to compete?
Thanks!
There won't be a required league to enter at all, nor a rank in a particular region. I'll confirm with the admins though and get them to post up for you
Yay! prolax nailed the look nicely, and it's starting to come together for the Events stuff which DV & Craigor have made their bitch IMO. I'm loving it, and the whole sticking with SMF as the forum is starting to pay dividends I reckon.
We're still looking to get an admin team on board for it from the NZ WoT community, but likely it won't be more than 7v7 - that said it all depends on the popularity of the game (like all the proposed titles that will be played).
Thanks for the question, and welcome to the Get Some forums!
I agree with Pyro, I think the previous "crew" have progressed a bit and the demise of the popular games we all cherished in to shitty ongoing remakes of shit means we're all doing other things. I play Hearthstone, Ingress (if you call it playing Ingress), and the odd FPS, but most of my time is spent trying to help the gaming industry more. From this perspective, once this LAN is done, I'll be looking to help with other LANs and make sure Get Some has article, podcast and video type stuff happening. I enjoy that side of things more than the liaising with industry people who are essentially hamstrung by virtue of the fact the Oceanic or Asia Pacific region is not worthy enough from a profitability perspective for money to come to gaming events, tournaments or other related activity in NZ. I don't say this in a negative or pessimistic way, I say this from over 8 years experience of dealing with and observing industry people through the period of growth of eSport as we have just seen.
I could rant for ages, but ultimately, myself and the 4 other dudes who bring this site and other related stuff to you do this out of passion and no income whatsoever for it. We want it to be the best it can be, and we want to provide facility for gamers - it may not be for you lot who regularly contribute to this thread, but it's you lot who I have on Facebook, and indeed call friends through out like mindedness. This LAN I look forward to as a catch up of all you fuckers. And if anyone doesn't show, I'll be mad. Like th3fairy mad. And she gets mad. So I'll be mad.
So, a new Irish chick started a work. She's not hot looking, but that accent... It got me thinking, on the basis of accent alone, how many points does it increase the "hot factor" for you.
Simply put, I can definitely say the following accents add or subtract to my hot rating:
So the range is because frankly you can get a hot Australian, with a shit awful annoying voice. But in general, even an ugly Irish bird talking is kinda awesome. She could be a solid 5, but with an awesome accent, you might be tempted to go out for a night or two - right?
No knowledge is known of K Dotcom's attendance. He's not there in a promotional or official capacity, and hasn't been approached AFAIK.
I kinda like the DN site, but I'm not a designer fusspot TBH. Just ask prolax, he will probably have extensive tales on how many times he's facepalmed at my requests or thoughts on how sites should look.
1. What are the entry fees 2. Will spectators be allowed? If so will there be an entry fee 3. If you now smoke ecigarrettes as in vaping does it mean I still have to fuck off outside?
<3
1. To be confirmed, hopefully around the $70-$90 mark, but obviously I'm trying to convince them to make this as cheap as possible. 2. Yes, however, they will need to pay to go to Digital NatioNZ which will be pretty cheap. 3. I'm sure we can work out something for you Tish
F5ing for those ticket prices boys. No need for tiered pricing. The premium seating at xlan was where the real weirdos were at iirc.
A heads up for you all - the announcement will come this week, and we'll have the sign ups for the LAN here, but ticketing will need to be purchased on the chosen Digi NatioNZ website. You don't have to play competitive, but we will have a competitive portion. The on downside that I don't think can be worked through is the overnight closure of the event - that is we'll likely be going through to midnight, and then open again in the morning.
Rii, just make the trip up for a day, and roll in babes. You know you want that Arseynimz loving.
Yeah, that's a stupid fucking article. And as per usual written in such a way to create scare mongering. The Keto premise is not to remove, but to reduce, and as Rii says to still be sensible about it. I took the weekend off and enjoyed a couple of sugary things with the kids, but also had some bread as well. Nothing mind bendingly bad because the key is moderation. The high fat, high protein, low carb diet is in essence about being smart, and I would expect that anyone undertaking such a diet/lifestyle would put some effort in to reading and understanding it like I did, and not just jumping in to it based on trickles of info from others, or bullshit newspaper article that are tragically misinformed.
Oh hey Herald, how's your picture of a dead "New Zealander" by the way...
Just to help the devs with this one, does their need to be a categorisation as to whether or not the hand that touched the peripheral was the fap hand or not? That is, if I'm a lefty, I'm going to load up redtube, and be able to browse away with my mouse hand, while I'm free willy with my off hand, whereas if I'm a righty there is a high likelihood that if I'm going for a stamina session, then I'm going to have to choose another video, and thus peripheral touching will occur.
This also raises - will we need to have any addition in respect to "fluids" on the peripheral. Again, referring to the stamina session, we all know that an extensive fap can create phenomenal build up pressure, and you sometimes give no shits about the direction when you're about to hit the end goal and so there's a possibility of contamination.
Just a few more intricate details for your requirement specification needing to be cleared up there.
Hooked up with the Enlightened Crew here in Auckland, and immediately seeing the benefit of the social side. The local dudes are awesome, and one of the main guys is just up the road in Newmarket, and also does the same job as me - needless to say he's keen to get me to L8 so we can tear Newmarket to shreds and annoy the crap out of the local Resistance.
Heaps of iOS agents coming through too (like me), so it's a pretty good time to be on Ingress.
