plus, judging from that footage above....dude doesn't know how to jetpack properly, thats going to be a HUUUGE skill to master. you can traverse whole maps without touching the ground IF you know what you're doing

It was on my radar but the whole 6v6 thing dropped it way down.
once you see it in action it makes sense. 6 "pilots", can fight on foot AND call in & drive a massive titan robot. OR they can fight on foot with the titan set to follow mode. as well as that there are AI controlled grunts running round. it's fast, very very fun, and a real contender for E-sport IMO. as you all know, large team formats are shit for esports

Zig, it is pretty obvious when Ghosts standard response to any new game seems to be hugely positive followed up by informing us we can buy it from EB GAMES! oh get fucked. seriously, thats all your comment deserves how dare I have an opinion and not be a cynical cunt that just thinks everything new is shit and the last game was better that tired fucking attitude is most of the reason i don't bother posting here much anymore,

but was the previous preorder DLC successful because it included some of the most popular maps from bf2, brought into the frostbite 2 engine rather than 4 new maps?
also i may have missed it - or it may not have been annouced - but have they said what maps are in china rising? no i meant in how well thought out & succesfull the whole rollout was karkand->close quarters->armoured kill->aftermath->end game i bought premium and reckon i got my moneys worth....perfect timing and every pack was different. will be doing premium again for sure

They haven't even announced the features of the new game and they're announcing DLC? Nice. it's exactly what they did last time, and hardly surprising how successful their bf3 DLC rollout was

what's the hype been like ps4 vs XBO? In my shop it's been pretty pro ps4, with a few of the xbox fanboys looking to jump ship....but i think the vast majority are waiting on e3 18 ps4 pre orders Vs 1 for xbox one This is the EB website right now:
I'd want to know the price of it as well before pre-ordering. because pre orders are refundable/transferable, there's no need to hold off....we'll see xbox (and hopefully ps4) pre xmas so any extra time to spread out the cost is a bonus

core trading demographic is is 18 to 25 year old males for the most part....although that is growing older.
the example you quote there is pretty simple, but probably true, be interested to know the title, but probably something quite old, and something we have a lot of copies of, effectivly trade prices being set by what we WILL be selling it at in the future....not what we ARE selling it for at moment of trade.
the whole trade process I find pretty fascinating because it's pretty much fortune telling haha
best rule of thumb, first month of launch, trade it back and you'll get around half your money back...any longer than that and game quality, popularity and how many copies we hold becomes more of a factor. sports games dont hold their value, COD does

ah yes, shane stockwell, he's from our Australian head office and is a very clued up guy, in charge of marketing for the entire Australasian region, which is run pretty independently of gamestop.
it mirrors what many are thinking, and reflects how much PO trades fund new game purchases, gamestop had a report out late last year that showed something in the region of 78% trade in's go toward new release, full price game purchases

I'm still laughing at that guy from EB games NZ who was saying how sony and/or microsoft would never kill the 2nd hand game market
how the fuck did that twit get to upper management? he's probably the guy who decides when EB games is having a sale. haven't seen this comment, and surprised if one of our guys has been quoted somewhere but... considering gamestop & specialist stores that rely on the preowned market sell something like 80% of all consoles sold....it's a valid comment. new hardware drives customers to specialist stores like no ones business, today has been a great example of that, I had groups of people discussing the pro's & cons of both consoles with me all through today. and because of that, both manufacturers WILL be coming up with a better solution for preowned rather than just locking it all down...which at the end of the day is pretty consumer hostile anyway. back to the topic at hand, nothing here has lured me away from playstation for my console, and many of my customers....even the previous xbox fan boys, seem pretty disappointed to...but the proof will be at E3

rent is $195 a week (not inc expenses), buy own food etc. only need to bring your own bedroom stuff. room available by the middle of may, but may be able to negotiate something sooner if need be. depends what you need. I've seen worse flats for more in the CBD, it's definitely good value IMO
it's a nice new place, warm over winter, with an internal deck and it's very secure (door codes etc), we've got all you can eat internet outside of business hours.. we all work full time as well....with various hours)
