I've been using fuelly.com to keep track of my fuel usage; http://www.fuelly.com/driver/donkey/mark-ii
Current average is 15L/100km.

i got a rather heavily modified v6 commodore and it does 9.7/100km on highway, round 17-20/100km in town, thank god i live in the country and only go to town for groceries.

No, The last time i went to Hastings from New Plymouth. I arrived with a quarter tank left. The tank itself holds around 60 liters.

Its pretty simple.
