heh, that sounds a bit like a cross between Kate Bush, Elton John and a whole lot of little cute girls doing their Americana thing. Insipid and pale, part of the 'soft-modern naivete, a grand pastiche :P

I like music too, good music, bad music, experimental music, lo-fi music, hi-fi music, singer-songwriters, bands, troubadours, plainchanters and cetera.

I like low-fi music too! Wu-Tang Clan's 'Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)' is pretty low-fi but it's regarded by many people, me included, as one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. If this album was properly remastered into higher-fi however, I'd get it in a heartbeat. Kate Bush, Paula Cole, Sophie B. Hawkins, No Doubt..oh the mid 90's. Can we go back to those days pop-music wise. You know, back in the days when pop-music actually had f'n meaning and depth to their songs..... Paula Cole's 'This Fire' album = a fantastic album.

Anyway, mmmm....the shoegaze is strong in this one:
