Heh, meh, I wasn't going to kill it, but it is just outside my shed, and I often go out there at night to er.. enjoy life.. And usually after doing so it's quite easy to forget that there is a HUGE FRICKING SPIDER right outside, and I'd probably walk into it, and it'd kill me.

TLDR; it was me or the spider, and I made the first move.

EDIT: There is also a funnel web spider just outside my back door, which I haven't even touched. I'm not even sure if it is a funnel web, but it has a funnel for it's web, and I don't know of any other spiders that use them.
